OK, so we're not actually in Qatar at the moment but are in Denmark for a week. However, these were the front page news before we left Doha: Long article where upset mothers complain that their kids have to attend scchool during such cold weather, how most people are no longer doing their morning exercise due to the cold and so on......on the same page the weather forecast for the day lists 24C/75F.....no need to say I was giggeling.
Madeleine and Mathias started school and seem happy. They were a bit hesitant the first morning but they are happy when we pick them up and that is a good sign. No issues with the school uniform and they look totally cute! Hats are mandatory when they are being outside due to the strength of the sun.
Victoria is slightly confused at the moment - she thinks she is still in pre-school with all her friends and that Miss Shanon is the one who has left......oh dear! She keeps asking for playdates with her "old" friends and I keep repeating that it will be difficult.
Madeleine also started asking about the possibility of flying in her friends from Easton for her up-coming birthday.....all I can think is: I better get a well paid job fast!!!
Madeleine and Matthias look adorable. Joseph said the uniforms are "cool"! I'm glad they like school. Joseph was very excited to tell me that your weekends in Qatar are Friday and Saturday. He thought that was very interesting. It is snowing here now, so it is funny thinking of all of you keeping your heads covered to protect from the strong sun. Send a little our way if you can! Hello to all!

Anna wanted to say Happy Valentines Day to Mathias, Madeline and Victoria! We had a good chuckle when we read that 75 degrees is considered cold in Qatar!!! We love the school uniforms - I think we should get them in Easton, it would save us a lot of time in the mornings!!! Oh yeah - Anna also wanted to say that it was the 100th day of school yesterday and she misses Mathias. Say hi to the camels for us!
